Finally got around to updating my Commissions Listing for 2025! Added some new recent example pieces and tags for what "complex/simple" means!
I lowered the price for the fullbody illustration pieces - because they are not that much more complex than waistup, just need a little bit more time (and I'd love to do some this year and hopefully make them a little more affordable this way! A fullbody piece of a single character is now more affordable than a waistup couple piece, for example, even with some complex details!)

General
By paying for my services, it means that you have read and accepted my Terms and Conditions. 
Terms of Service and Prices are subject to change at anytime. You are only subject to the ToS and prices agreed upon at the time of the transaction.
I reserve the right to reject a commission for any reason.
All artwork is transferred digitally.
Payment
Payments will only be accepted through PayPal, in USD. I require 50% upfront or full payment before starting a commission. Once I accept your commission, I will send an invoice via PayPal. Only once the invoice is paid will I start working on your commission. If the invoice is not paid, I will have to cancel the commission.
Price can vary based on the amount of detail. 
Refunds will only be allowed if nothing has started. I do not allow refunds after the sketch approval.
Deadlines
Depending on my workload, the turnaround time should take no longer than 4 weeks. I will provide an estimate time for completion, and/or indicate if there is a delay in completing your commission. 
You may request a WIP at any time. I will try my best to respond as soon as possible.
Usage Policy
My artwork is for personal use only. No commercial use of my artwork is allowed. 
I reserve the right to my artwork and the right to post it. If you would like your commission to be private and not published on social media, please let me know!
If you would like to post your commission on social media, please be sure to include my signature or to tag me in the post. 
You may not use my artwork for any kind of Generative AI Training or for NFTs. 
Other
Please provide at least one clear visual reference for original character illustrations. It could be your own artwork, other commissioned work, or even a PIcrew. If not, descriptions and a moodboard/inspiration board can be accepted, though extra will be charged. 
I will only allow 2 major changes (ex: poses, characters) and 3 minor changes (ex: colors, accessories) during the sketch and colouring process. Any more beyond this will include additional charges.
For all lineart commissions, I do not allow having other commissioned artists to color it in. If the client would like, they can color it in themselves to be used as a visual guide or for personal use. However, I do not allow that modified version to be posted anywhere. 
I would also like to be transparent and say that because this is for a school assignment, I have to document the process of this commission, but I will not include your identity nor the contents of your commission! Everything will remain 100% anonymous.

1. General TOS
I reserve the right to reject any commission before payment.
Prices listed on this commission sheet are subject to change depending on complexity
2. Payment
Payment will be provided via a PayPal invoice
Half of the deposit will be required upfront, the other half upon completion but before the buyer receives the high quality file. 
Please wait to send any payment until after I have confirmed that I have accepted the commission. 
3. Process & Revisions
I will contact you before the commission is accepted for any questions, concerns, or clarifications. It is expected that you will respond in a timely manner (24 hours) to DMs.
I'll do my best to keep you updated in all stages of the commission by sending progress updates for reviewal.
Revisions are allowed during the drawing process, and encouraged during all phases of the art process leading up to completion.
One revision will be permitted after the completion of the drawing, any further revisions will increase fees (starting at 10 USD).
Commissions will take up to a month to complete, depending on time of year, my general schedule, and the complexity of the commission.
The commission will be delivered via Google Drive and will be digital.

in regards to fan art, i prefer to only take commissions for media i am familiar with, and i may refuse commissions for media that i don't know particularly well or with which i am uncomfortable. if you're unsure about the media you're looking to commission fan art of, you can inquire via tumblr asks or dms.
i will not take commissions in a different art style from my own. this includes commissions where i would be asked to replicate the style of another artist.
overall, i reserve the right to refuse any commission whose contents i am uncomfortable with.
procedure:
after contacting me via google forms, discord, email, or dms, i will respond to accept, confirm, and provide a price for the commission.
payment will be done upfront via paypal invoice (accepts credit/debit cards, paypal, and venmo). i will send confirmation once the payment has been received.
i will send the rough sketch once it's complete and provide additional details such as a rough color palette if needed or requested.
refunds are only possible before the sketch has been completed.
during the process of completing the commission, i will provide work-in-progress images of the artwork at the line art stage, as well as the flat color and fully shaded stages if applicable to check if there are any changes you want to make to the piece at those points.
additional work-in-progress images will be provided alongside any requested alterations made to the artwork. if you would like progress images at any other point in the process, please let me know.
please provide reference images for the subject of your commission. these can include references for the kind of pose, prop, clothing, etc. you would like, but at least one reference for a character or individual being drawn is necessary.
these can be as simple or as complex as you can provide, as long as they are clear. i will not design a character from a written description of them.
you may, however, supplement reference images with written descriptions if there are certain details for which you do not have images.
terms:
the final product of the commission is a digital artwork, and is provided in the form of a PNG or JPG/JPEG file. no physical/material copy is provided.
the artist retains copyright over the finished artwork, as well as any work-in-progress images provided to the commissioner.
the rights to all characters or individuals featured in a commission are retained by their respective owners.
the commissioner may upload or share the final commission artwork on any social media platform, and credit is appreciate but not required. (if you do wish to credit me, i can be found at @bancaishi on instagram and tumblr.)
commissions are for private, non-commercial purposes only. the commissioner may not make use of a commission from me to make a profit, be it through selling/redistributing digitally or physically (as prints, merchandise, etc.). this also applies to NFTs.

As you can see from the previews, I can do both realistic and stylized/Anime design+shading. If there's an Anime character you would love to see in realistic form, that can certainly be arranged!
